Amalia
Villa Elissa and Avra have some of the most dramatic views over Lakka Bay - Villa Amalia has possibly the most dramatic view.
If you hire a car - a narrow track leads from the village of Lakka, up a hillside of olive groves towards the lighthouse on the west coast. One kilometre up this track are the private grounds of Amalia.
If on foot - a pathway close to the villa leads down the hillside of olive groves to Harami beach (beachfront taverna) in 8 minutes and then a further 4 minutes to Lakka waterfront.
From here there is always something to catch the eye: mountain villages on the Greek mainland; ferries travelling along the mainland coastline to Corfu; yachts and fishing boats entering and departing Lakka port; shadows cast by olive and cypress trees as the progress of the sun throws different perspectives over the hillsides surrounding the bay.

Location: car hire recommended for island exploration but not essential. The tavernas, shops and boat hire at Lakka are a drive of under 5 minutes. The lighthouse beach is under a 5 minute drive and a pathway leads to another beach in 10 minutes.
Accommodation: studio of a double bedroom, sitting area (with sofa bed), bathroom with shower and kitchen.
